It's always nice to be apart of a growing economy, I first moved here almost 12 years ago and SLC has been on the constant rise ever since. Forbes.com just released their list of the top 20 fastest growing cities in the U.S Salt Lake came in at number 5 on the list with some pretty intersting stats.
2012 Population growth rate: 1.5%
2013 Population growth rate: 1.5%
Job growth rate: 2.8%
Unemployment: 4.8%
Gross Metro Product: 5.3%
Median salary: $60,000
3 Texas cities Austin, Houston, and Dallas took the top 3 slots respectively with Raleigh, NC coming in at number 4 on the list. Also, got to give a honorable mention to Provo finishing in the top 10 at #7 and Ogden at #20 on the list.
Guess that's why were finally getting a Popeye's chicken and Dunkin Donuts huh...lol. Either way, way to go SLC!

Looks like the lights mysteriously going out at the big game wasn't the only drama in the Big Easy this past weekend. After a celebrity Bowl game, Weezy (who's team lost btw) got into a small altercation with a cameraman.
More here from Allhiphop:
Young Money boss Lil Wayne was caught on video getting into a brief altercation with a cameraman this weekend. Wayne was one of the celebrity players at the annuall Beach Bowl football game during Super Bowl weekend in New Orleans. After Wayne’s team lost the game he can be seen yelling at a cameraman during the post-game celebrations.
“Look at me m....f..... Look at me when you apologize,” says Wayne toward someone off camera.
E! News’s Alicia Quarles later caught up with Wayne to ask him what got him so upset. Wayne’s explains that he didn’t appreciate being pushed by one of the cameramen, and then seems to suggest that he would have reacted by pushing the man back but the color of his skin would have been held against him after the incident.
“I don’t like to be touched by people that I don’t tell to touch me. So I’ma get out of the building because if I touch somebody I go to jail because they not the color of me. They not the same color I am so you know how that go,” says Wayne.
He ended the interview with, “but to them, f... you!”
Wayne is still currently on probation after serving eight months at New York’s Rikers Island in 2010 for a gun possession conviction. If Wayne is seen as violating the terms of his probation he could be sent back to prison.
Maybe Wayne should just stick to skating :)

He keeps doing stupid stuff and we keep reporting it...not sure what that makes me, but either way, our favorite bad boy is at again.
From WENN:
Breezy has reportedly shut down his profile on Instagram after coming under fire for comparing himself to Jesus.
The rapper appeared to comment on his alleged altercation with fellow singer Frank Ocean on Sunday by uploading a picture of a painting depicting Jesus on the cross, along with the caption, "Painting the way I feel today. Focus on what matters!"
The move prompted a storm of criticism from his followers on the site, which links up to a user's account on Twitter, prompting Brown to reply, "Social media takes away the essence of why we are even special or icons. So with that, I'm detaching myself from that world."
Users trying to access his account are now unable to view the page.
Brown previously shut down his Twitter account last November after a heated argument with a female comedy writer.
Tsk tsk CB!

Little down today, being back at work...weather got you depressed or just people in general annoying you? How about some words of encouragement from Kid President...
