YES YES YA'LL, IT'S FINALLY HERE!
The start of the 2010-2011 Football season! It's pretty much my favorite time of the year.. crisp fall air, son's playing ball, trash talk, a lot of beer.. plus.. RAIDER FOOTBALL! Yes I am a true fan of the Silver & Black! I go to games every year, I buy all the gear.. (ask my folks here at U92 and they'll tell ya'lll how hard I rep during the season) :)
The Raiders are looking good too! New QB (no Russell YAY!!!) plus great back up QB's, terrific backers including former BYU Cougar, Manase Tonga (YES BYU FAN HERE TOO.. I Expect the hate during this time lol) and a great defence that helped the Raiders go 3-1 in the preseason! You know I'm very excited and ready for my Raiders to rock the AFC West!
Who ever your team is, you know we're all ready for this years pig skin season!
GO RAIDERS!!! I'll be in Oakland November for the Raiders vs. chiefs game. *note: The real Chief will be wearing Silver & Black!

With the economy not at it's full recovery, times are still pretty tough for some people which ups the tempation to steal. Here in Utah we have a huge problem with thieves stealing catalytic converters, But if you think that's a costly part to replace...try replacing the whole car!!
According to cnn.com and the Highway Loss Data Institute here are the 10 most stolen vehicles this year...
1. Cadillac Escalade
2. Chevrolet Silverado
3. Dodge Charger
4. Chevrolet Avalanche
5. Infiniti G37 Coupe
6. GMC Sierra Crew Cab
7. Nissan Maxima
8. Hummer H2
9. GMC Yukon XL 4WD
10. Chevrolet Tahoe
If you drive one of these fine pieces of machinery...lock it up in a garage somewhere!

I'm sorry but people take Facebook waaayyy too serious sometimes, I feel like I can't even put up a status without someone asking "what's wrong" "are you okay" or even worse when you get a private message from someone saying you offended them with your status, when it had nothing to even do with them...Ummm it's called don't read it. Now, I hear there's people losing their job just because of a FB status, that's ridiculous, I mean what's the point of having one of these Social Networking Pages if you can't vent or say what you want on it? Here's my 3 new rules for FB:
1. If You Don't Like My Status...either don't read it, or Just simply block me!
2. Don't send me a private message saying "maybe you shouldn't post that on FB" I can post what I want it's my page (obviously within reason)
3. This is BIGGEST one: If You don't know the situation...You Probably shouldn't comment on it!
Ok I'll get off my soap box now! lol

Two movies that are straight up Cult Classics.. I think every cool person that loves Hip Hop has both of these in their collection. Aww I loved the 90's! LOL
I was stoked to have 2 comedians that were in 2 of my favorite movies in the studio today!.. FREEZ LUV (House Party 3) and CHARLIE MURPHY (CB4) Of coarse Charlie Murphy killed the 21st century with Dave Chappelle.
Big ups!

As a fan of Hip Hop.. not just the music, but the culture.. I was so excited to see 2 west coast legends on the same stage! Plus I loved how this years Summer Jam was in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City. I think all we were missing was Dr Dre! (YEAH RIGHT... He's been on the DL for a minute now haha) But man, it was exciting to see Tha Dogg Pound too. So many DPGC classics on my MP3 player including a catalog of 12 inches in my basement! (But some of ya'll don't know what I'm talking about LOL) Then to see WC kill it with Ice Cube... Most would pay $50++ for a ticket and downtown experience as this years Summer Jam.. but we hooked it up for just $25 :) And I'm happy to tell ya that we OVERSOLD OUT! hahah.. Meaning we sold 5000 tickets and released an extra 500 at the door. 5500 plus listeners experienced the same sensation I did. The up and coming West Coast artists that opened the show also did they damn thang!
Big ups to those that came to the after party too! Sadly I had to go right when Chino4Real came on.. morning show duties called ;) but from what I seen, we had a packed house there too! Shout out to my boy Judon with J.E.T. Limousine for the ride to the show, after party, and back to the crib!
I HAD A BLAST!... and now I wonder like many here at Millcreek Broadcasting... How are we going to top this show, next year??... hmmmm
Thank you everyone that came to this years Summer Jam!
Peace Fam
