U92 Official Contest Rules

These rules may be amended or changed at any time without any prior notice.
Any dispute regarding KUUU's contest rules will be decided by the judges. We are the judges.

Some rule changes may be made before they are reposted online or in file in our records, but nonetheless, KUUU and Millcreek Broadcasting reserve the right to enforce them.

KUUU may not be held responsible for personal injury or bodily harm as a result of awarded prizes. Prior to receiving any prize, all winners are required to sign a waiver absolving KUUU and it's parent company of any further responsibility.

Winners MUST BE legal residents of the UNITED STATES of AMERICA and living in the Salt Lake City metropolitan listening area as defined by the Arbitron Company.

KUUU reserves the right to change the prize - if necessary - to a comparable or equivelant alternate.

When calling KUUU's request lines for a contest or any other purpose, the caller/listener assumes that KUUU may air the audio from the phone call without any additional notice.
KUUU reserves the right to use any winner's name and likeness for promotional purposes.

Any personal information collected by KUUU (such as Social Security Numbers) is solely for the purpose of legality as it relates to United States taxation laws. Winners are responsible for any taxes associated with their prize. KUUU does not distribute personal information - whatsoever - to any third parties.

Upon winning, a listener must wait 30 days before they can win again for prizes valued at $99 USD or less. For all prizes valued at $100 or more, the listener must wait 90 days before winning again.

Some contests require the participants and winners to be of a certain age - perhaps 18 years of age for some contests and 21 years of age in others.

In the event that the correct caller of a particular contest does not meet the necessary qualifications, KUUU may substitute the next caller as or other following caller as needed until a qualified winner is determined.

Positive proof identification is required before a prize may be accepted from KUUU.
Employees of KUUU, Millcreek Broadcasting, or any other radio station or station cluster are not eligible to win.

In the event that a station sponsor is involved with a contest, employees of the sponsoring entity are not eligible to win.

Prizes must be picked up during regular business hours - Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM - excluding US federally recognized holidays and the observed Pioneer Day in Utah. KUUU's studios are inside Millcreek Broadcasting's facilities at 2835 East 3300 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84109.

Winners have 30 days to claim their prize unless KUUU has made other arrangements for claiming said prize.
