KDF Promoter Sues The Game

A promoter for the Kentucky Derby Festival is suing The Game for $75,000 for not performing at the festival.

Apparently, the rapper had agreed to headline at the festival and was paid $35,000 in advance. Yet the day of, the L.A. rapper did a no show for his set after he found out that he had been bumped down from the headliner spot.

According to Courthouse News, the game was wired a deposit before the show. Although, he didn’t show the rapper did not pay the amount back.

The promotion company received a call from The Game’s manager on the day of and said that “The Game would not be performing unless he was headlining the event.”

There’s always that person who claims he or she is so good at something and when it comes down to it you find out it was all an act. In this case, Drake who claims to be “Steph Curry with the shot,” is one of them.

As he went out to support his favorite basketball team, the Kentucky Wildcats; he was invited to the team’s annual Midnight Madness event at Rupp Arena.

He decided to jump in line and warm up with the team, the turnout? Not so well.

As he fired up he shot an aired three-pointer he didn’t look good doing it either.

Although he became the laughing stalk of the night, he lightened up the mood by pulling out a lint roller before he was about to introduce the players and coaches.

Is Obama Falling On Hard Times?

President Obama’s credit card was rejected at a New York restaurant last month, while he was visiting the United Nations.

“It turned out I guess I don’t use it enough –so they thought there was fraud going on. Fortunately, Michelle had hers,” Obama said at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau on Friday.

“I was trying to explain to the waitress, ‘No really, I think that I’ve, uh, been paying my bills.’ So even I’m affected by this,” he added.

Obama narrated the story as he signed an executive order on identity theft.

The order commands chip-and-pin technology on federal government credit and debit cards. It also provides new and improved help for victims of identity theft and finally, it works with businesses to encourage more identity theft prevention measures.

What is your opinion on the story? Should his credit card have been declined? And do you truly believe that the new executive order will make a difference in Identity Theft?

Red Wine, Does It Truly Help Cure The Body? Jay R the Superstar | Nights

Red Wine, Does It Truly Help Cure The Body?

Most people enjoy sipping on red wine, and they also enjoy hot bubble baths, but New York Knicks’ Amar’e Stoudemire enjoys soaking in it.

The 31-year-old player, who currently had knee surgery, claims that bathing in red wine makes him feel great after intense preseason play.

His elaborate treatment include4s a red wine and water bath, followed by a 90-minute massage and then moving to a salt tub, a hot tub, a cold plunge and finally, a pool.

Amar’e truly believes that the red wine makes a big impact.

“The red wine bath is very important to me because it allows me to create more circulation in my red blood cells,” he told ESPN.

Apparently, the ancient Spartans were said to bathe their infants in wine to make them stronger. Red wine has been known to possess some health benefits, this is thanks to resveratrol –an antioxidant found in the skin of red grapes and cocoa. Red wine has also been shown to encourage heart health.

“There is no scientific evidence to disprove his theories and there is also no scientific evidence to prove it,” says Dr. Whitney Bowe, a dermatologist in New York City.

“If it is helping him, he should absolutely keep doing it, but it may not be the red wine [causing the good feelings],” she added.

Dr. David Geier, an orthopedic surgeous and sports medicine expert in Charleston, South Carolina, thinks that a reason Amar’e might feel so good is because it is still early in the NBA season.

“He may feel better because he has had a few nights off. It’s hard to imagine how lying in the red wine would have any affect on [cartilage] pain,” he said.

Geier also added that as long as the treatments are not harmful to the athlete’s, they should continue to do what makes them feel healthy.

“The red wine bath and spa treatment can reduce cortisol levels, simply relieving stress can have a benefit for overall health and well-being. He’s decreasing cortisol and stress in his body,” added Dr. Bowe.

What do you think about this?

Could it all truly be in Amar’e’s head or do you truly believe that red wine could potentially have positive affects for the body?
