As we all know, there has been a “leak” of celebrity nudes on the internet thanks to an unknown hacker(s). First Kim Kardashian, then this morning, Meagan Good, Rihanna, Gabrielle Union and Iggy Azalea.
Most people were not surprised by Kim’s or Rihanna’s but Iggy’s was by far one of the worst.
According to Inflexwetrust.com, Gabrielle and Dwayne Wade released joint statements that said, “It has come to our attention that our private moments, that were shared and deleted solely between my husband and myself, have been leaked by some vultures.”
They added, “I can’t help but be reminded that since the dawn of time women and children, specifically women of color, have been victimized, and the power over their own bodies taken from them. These atrocities against women and children continue worldwide. For anyone out there also being affected by these and other hacking and hate crimes – We send our love, support and prayers. We have done nothing wrong.”
Along with this, Gabrielle and Dwayne are having the FBI investigate who the hacker was. Following behind their steps Meagan Good released a statement as well. Good has been getting a lot of criticism via the internet (with memes) the fact that her husband, DeVon Franklin is a well-known pastor has a lot to do with it.
“We all know these pictures were for my husband… and at the end of the day evidently we all know how I feel about my titties,” She said.
What is your opinion on this story? Is the thought that someone can just hack your phone frightening? Or are the celebrities at blame?
A week after VIBE magazine shut down officially, XXL magazine is set to follow.
The hip-hop magazine has been around for 17 years. It made sure that fans received all the news on rap music the old fashioned way, before the internet/blogosphere took over. With technology taking over this generation’s attention, young readers find online publications more attractive than the print ones. Therefore, XXL was bought out by Townsquare Media.
The October/November edition of XXL, currently at the printers, will be the final edition of the magazine. Ben Harris, the president of Harris Publications, which began publishing XXL in 1997, said, “We incubated something digitally, but the Townsquare people can take it to the next level with their digital expertise.”
Although most buy-outs lead to layoffs, Bill Wilson, the chief content officer of Townsquare says that “11 XXL editorial and digital ad sales team employees will be offered jobs.”
Wilson also added that it is possible that the publication will return to print for rare, special issues. “We think XXL has strong potential in both the digital and live events market,” he added.
Is there a possibility that all media will eventually discontinue printed publications? With XXL being around for so many years, is it fair to the audience to just discontinue the magazine? What’s your opinion?
Is it true? Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey are getting a divorce?!
It sounds like it! As most of you may know, there has been problems in the Cannon-Carey household; but who can be the cause? None other than Mrs. Kim Kardashian-West herself.
As Nick confirmed that Mariah and he are living apart, the rumors about a forthcoming divorce began. Along with this, a source came forward and claimed that Nick’s ex-girlfriend Kim Kardashian is somehow in the center of the messy situation.
According to Dish Nashion, Nick cannon recently reached out to Kim to inform her that she may be receiving a call from Mariah to confront her.
“Mariah will never admit it, but she is jealous of Kim because Nick has always raved that she was his best lover and she had the best body of any woman he’s ever been with,” stated an anonymous source.
It looks like Mariah has decided to pull the plug on their six year marriage.
What do you think about this stick marriage situation? Is it fair for Kim to receive the blame or should Mariah just leave him and leave her alone?
On Tuesday Janay Rice, wife of the suspended NFL player Ray Rice, bashed the media about the elevator tape that was recently released by TMZ. In her response, she stood by her husband’s side.
A day after the Baltimore Ravens fired Ray Rice and the league suspended him for knocking his wife out during a fight, Janay responded by saying that the situation was a nightmare.
“To make us relive a moment in our lives that we regret every day is a horrible thing,” Janay wrote on an Instagram post. “To take something away from the man I love that he has worked his ass off for all his life just to gain ratings is a horrific."
Rice was weeks away from returning to the gridiron when the elevator tape was released. The video shows him punching his then-fiancée and dragging her limp body out of an Atlantic City casino elevator.
On Tuesday, his wife said she feels like she is mourning the death of her closest friend.
“No one knows the pain that the media & unwanted options from the public has caused my family,” she said. “If your intentions were to hurt us, embarrass us, make us feel alone, take all happiness away, you’ve succeeded on so many levels. Just know we will continue to grow & show the world what real love is!”
Janay then proceeded to defend her husband on ESPN later that night.
“I love my husband. I support him. I want people to respect our privacy in this family matter,” Janay said, according to the network.
Ray then proceeded to apologize to his fans, the owner of the Ravens and everyone who was affected by the situation. Yet with this opportunity he did not apologize to his wife.
Janay also blamed herself along with the media.
What is your opinion on this? Does Ray deserve another opportunity or not?

“We still talk every Sunday. She’s still the humble, generous person that she’s always been,” said Knowles. Although they currently have a good relationship, things may begin to get rocky again when she hears what he had to say about their elevator incident.
