Apparently there is beef between Tyga and Drake, in a recent interview with TMZ, Tyga was viciously honest. He said that Drake was “fake” and he also went on a twitter rant about the YMCMB label.
According to Tyga, he has had beef with both Drake and Nicki Minaj. Although he admits that he likes the Toronto Native’s music, he said he didn’t think he was the real deal.
How did Drake respond? In a very immature way of course. He went on social media, Instagram to be exact; and liked a few of Tyga’s “boo-thing’s” selfies.
Later one of Drake’s associates, OVO Chubbs, made a direct response to Tyga via an Instagram video.
The video shows footage of Tyga, before he was famous on a failed MTV show named “Bustas.” In the video, Tyga talks about his upbringing in the valley.
Yet, Tyga later claimed that the show was scripted and that he actually grew up in Compton. Chubbs then hashtagged the video with #TheyRWhoWeThoughtTheyWere #Eps1.
What is your opinion? Did they respond in the correct matter or was it a bit immature?
There’s always that person who claims he or she is so good at something and when it comes down to it you find out it was all an act. In this case, Drake who claims to be “Steph Curry with the shot,” is one of them.
As he went out to support his favorite basketball team, the Kentucky Wildcats; he was invited to the team’s annual Midnight Madness event at Rupp Arena.
He decided to jump in line and warm up with the team, the turnout? Not so well.
As he fired up he shot an aired three-pointer he didn’t look good doing it either.
Although he became the laughing stalk of the night, he lightened up the mood by pulling out a lint roller before he was about to introduce the players and coaches.
For quite some time now, Nicki Minaj and Drake have teased their fans with the idea that there is something between the two. Their on-going flirtation has taken yet another step as Nicki fuels the fire in her latest single “Anaconda.”
As she recently released stills from her video, Nicki appears to be wearing fishnet tights and a bust-bearing bra while giving Drake “the lap dance of a lifetime.”
Between the images, the video clip and the artwork that Nicki released earlier this month, one can only imagine what the “Anaconda” video will turn out like.
The video is scheduled to drop on Wednesday August 20th, 2014.
What do you think? Could there possibly be more between Nicki and Drake? Or could this all be for show?
The NBA fined the Raptors $25,000 due to a tampering violation by Drake. The rapper invited Kevin Durant to join the team as Durant attended his Toronto music festival.
The NBA is stable in punishing public displays of tampering, yet; according to The Globe and Mail’s Cathal Kelly; there is another way out.
The NBA offered to drop the fine if the team agreed to strip Drake of his title, yet the Raptors refused.
What do you think? Was this truly a second option for the Raptors or was this an opportunity for the league to attempt to run one of the most popular celebrities in the world out of the NBA?
As rap star Drake made comments about NBA MVP Kevin Durant during his OVO Fest last weekend, the Toronto Raptors have been fined $25,000 for being in violation of anti-tampering rules.
As the official global ambassador for the Raptors, Drake asked the crowd at the concert how they would react if Durant- who is set to become a free agent in 2016- were to play for Toronto. Durant was in town for the concert weekend.
An NBA executive claims in an ESPN report that Durant was a target of what the league calls a public recruiting pitch by the rapper.
“My brother Kevin Durant was kind enough to come to the show tonight and watch us,” Drake said to his fans. “I just want him to see what would happen if he were to come play in Toronto.” The fans went crazy and responded with a thundering “K-D!” chant.
The Raptors, Washington Wizards, New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Lakers are considered contenders for Durant.
Do you think it was right for the Raptors to be fined? Or should Drake be the one to pay?
