The RZA of The Wu Tang Clan had hit rapper Game with a cease and desist over a song with the looming threat of a lawsuit.
The conflict arose after The Rza produced a song, "Heartbreaker" for Game's anticipated R.E.D. Album, but when the sample was un-clearable, it was used for the recently released "Purp & Patron" double mixtape. That apparently raised the ire of The RZA. "I think RZA [is] tryin' to sue about ['Heartbreaker'] or somethin'," Game told hiphopdx.com. "That's f**kin' crazy. Like, I don't even know how RZA sues The Game.
He came to the studio and brought the ['Heartbreaker'] track to me. He's like, 'Yo Game, this is for you. You can have that.' Those are his words." Game also maintains that RZA's company on that day, Rev. Burke, was invited to rhyme on the record. "His boy spit crazy. I [rapped after] him."
Game said that the cease and desist declaration confused him after they connected on the creation of the piece. "So I threw it out [on a mixtape]. The next thing I know RZA is suing The Game. That shit's crazy. I didn't even know Wu-Tang sued ni**as."
There is no beef, Game said and proclaimed that he maintains his respect and relationships within the Wu-Tang ranks. "I still got nothin' but respect for RZA [and] the whole Wu, and all of that. I'm good. I'm good friends with Ghostface [Killah] and [Raekwon] and Method [Man]. Those are my dudes. I would never speak down on RZA or any of those dudes for that matter - not that any of those dudes [have anything] to do with this conversation," Game continued. "But with the Wu, you gotta speak to a pack. It's all love."
Whether or not the case will actually go to court remains unclear.
A Scrooge almost ruined Christmas for rapper Game over the holiday weekend.
The rapper, born Jayceon Taylor, was robbed of $75,000 worth of jewelry and other items from his vehicle while he was shopping at the Westfield Topanga Mall in Canoga Park, California on December 24th.
"Tried 2 do last minute shoppin 4 da kids & valet stole a Louis Duffle out @avanterose 's car & we 2 chains & $75,000 short," Game tweeted early in the morning of December 25th.
The rapper and a friend parked their car with the valet in a Nordstrom department store, only to return to the vehicle to find that several pieces of jewelry worth almost $75,000 was stolen.
Game accused Topanga Mall's Nordstrom valet workers of being engaged in a criminal ring involving stealing.
Topanga Mall "Nordstroms" valet is janky as F**K !!! They gotta a lil stealing ring goin, PARKS YA OWN S**T from now on !
According to Game, the incident was on videotape, but police that responded told him that palm trees obscured the perpetrators from being seen.

"me or @avanterose couldnt do sh!t cuz both are dumb ass's on parole. Ole' Yes officer, No officer ass n!ggas we was !!! Then after 4 hrs of no answers we drivin off & da most racist of all da cops gone say: "Thats a sweet ride man". WHAT ?!? B!tch, investigate.

Compton, California rapper The Game is celebrating an operation that went successful to help his daughter with an unknown condition.
The rapper took to Twitter yesterday to reveal that his three-month-old daughter, Cali Dream Taylor, was undergoing surgery at Cedar's Sinai Pediatric Ward, for a condition that has worsened over the past several months.
The Game, who landed in Vienna, Austria just hours ago, lamented that he couldn't be in the hospital to support his daughter and the child's mother. "She's only 3 months old so it's extra HARD to fathom but through God's strife she is already healed, still I pray that all goes as planned," the rapper tweeted before his young daughter went in for the surgical procedure.
Afterwards, Game was overjoyed to see that the surgery was successful.
"Cali Dream Taylor a.k.a. Superwoman," Game tweeted. "Strong lil chubby baby ha ha ha... Again, thank God as well as her mother & all of u 4 the blessings."
Game, who often mentions his kids on his records took some time away from the studio to spend some quality time with his boys at Disneyland. Game (born Jayceon Taylor) has been working on his upcoming CD The R.E.D Album which was slated for an August 24th release date. However, there were rumors circling that the album may never hit the shelves due to a pending lawsuit from a publishing company that claims Game owes them a ton of money in back royalties. Hopefully this situation can be resolved and the highly anticipated album can see the light of day. The R.E.D Album is said to feature production from Super Producer Pharrell Williams and a reunion with his Mentor Dr. Dre and Aftermath Records.
