Apparently Rihanna wants everyone to mind their own business when it comes to her relationship or lack thereof with Ashton Kutcher. For the past couple weeks they've been seen coming out of hotels, and even one another's home and rumors are going around that they've been hooking up. Well during a press conference for her new movie "Battleship" a reporter asked Rihanna about the status of the relationship with her and Ashton, Rihanna replied by saying "Wow how disappointing was that question...I'm single and happy if that's what you're asking" the tone in Ri Ri's voice sounded as if she was very annoyed by the reporter's question. No disrespect to their privacy. But c'mon we all know Ashton is recently single so of course people want to know what's going on. Or maybe she doesn't want to admit that she is just a "Booty Call". Hey, it is what it is I suppose! lol
1998 was a great year for Hip Hop, there's was so much balance as far as what type of records were coming out and all coasts (West, East, South) were all represented in some form, It was also the year we got the groundbreaking solo album from Lauryn Hill "The Miseducation..." It was a dope album that gave us not only hit records to bang in the clubs and on the radio but there was substance. There's been alot of speculation over the last few years as to if The Fugees would ever reunite, when it looked like it could happen back in 2005, all plans fell thru and Wyclef Jean, Pras, and Lauryn Hill went there seperate ways again. Although Wyclef has had hits on the radio since, nothing could compare to the group as a whole. Well we may not get a full Fugees reunion but it looks like Lauryn Hill is wrapping production on her new album properly titled "The Return" With Nicki Minaj holding it down pretty tough for female MC's, one has to wonder if the public is still checking for Lauryn. Nonetheless "The Return" is slated for a late 2012 release and she is planning to have a huge listening party for the album sometime next month. Obviously alot has changed in the last 14 years, but I would hope that people haven't forgot and the long awaited sophomore project won't go overlooked!
At approxmately 10:40 last night 3/15 (Pacific Time) Long Beach hook crooner Nate Dogg was pronounced dead at the age of 41.
Nate had suffered several strokes over the last 3 years, most recently as last year he was having even more health issues, but on March 15th it all caught up to him and he unfortunately could not make a full recovery.
Nate Dogg, born Nathaniel Hale was famous for legendary hooks on classics like Snoop Doggs "Ain't No Fun" Dr. Dre's "Next Episode" and of course Warren G's "Regulators" and a ton of other hip hop and R&B records over the last 18 years. Originally a member of 2-1-3 a group formed with childhood friends Snoop Dogg, and Warren G....many artists called on Nate Dogg to lace their record with his soulful sound that was like no other.
As Mack 10 said once "It Ain't a Hit unless Nate Dogg spit" Nate Dogg will be missed by peers in the industry as well as the fans and his family. Keep it on U92 to hear all the Nate Dogg Classics and more info on his death as we get it! R.I.P Nate Dogg

Former Murder Inc. rapper Ja Rule will learn his fate today (February 9th), when he is officially sentenced to prison for possessing a handgun in July of 2007.
Ja Rule, born Jeffrey Atkins, is scheduled to appear in court today to be sentenced, after he pleaded guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon in December of 2010.
Today, the rapper will learn when he must surrendered to authorities to begin serving a two-year sentence, which will sideline his career as he prepares to release his new album The Renaissance Project.
The charges stem from a July 2007 incident after a concert in New York, when police found a loaded handgun in the rear door of his Maybach.
In January, Ja, 34, said that his album The Renaissance Project, would be released before he starts his prison sentence.
"Damn, some of u act like 18 months is forever," Ja Rule tweeted shortly after learning of his prison term. "It aint Hard to tell who the snitches are!!!…Renaissance Project will be dropping before I go in."
