Ok I'm positive now that all this is for publicity and to get a huge ratings kick in the new AI season. It started with Nicki vs Mariah, now Nicki and Steven Tyler of Aerosmith and tossing the bird at one another.
From Popcrush:
The Aerosmith rocker felt that the new judging panel, which includes Nicki, Mariah Carey and Keith Urban, weren’t sufficient to nurture talent on the show. He theorizes — hypothetically — that if Bob Dylan was a contestant on the show he would have been kicked out instantly without given a chance to grow and develop. “It needs to be birthed, not judged by ‘entertainment’ factors, it needs to be judged by people that [are] honest, true, that have the ‘it’ factor,” Tyler says. “Not the ‘it’ factor because they can fight. The f— is that all about?”
“These kids, they just got out of a car from the Midwest somewhere and they’re in New York City, they’re scared to death; you’re not going to get the best [out of them],”
he continues. “If it was Bob Dylan, Nicki Minaj would have had him sent to the cornfield! Whereas, if it was Bob Dylan with us, we would have brought the best of him out, as we did with [last year's 'American Idol'] Phillip Phillips. Just saying.”
Apparently, Minaj didn’t like Tyler’s opinion and lashed out at him on her Twitter feed. “Steven Tyler said I would have sent Bob Dylan to a cornfield??? Steven, you haven’t seen me judge one single solitary contestant yet!” she tweeted. She then wrote this vitriolic missive: “You assume that I wouldn’t have liked Bob Dylan??? why? black? rapper? what? go f— yourself and worry about yourself babe.”
Get ready for the drama to start in January!
Another legend in the music industry has passed on, Dick Clark has died at age 82 after suffering from a massive heart attack. Anyone that is over the age of 30 should remember watching American Bandstand on ABC where tons of artists got to perform for millions on national television, Clark also known as a T.V Producer as well as the well known yearly "New Year's Rockin' Eve"
From TMZ:
Clark's rep tells TMZ, the TV icon had been in St. John's hospital in L.A. after undergoing an outpatient procedure last night. Clark suffered the "massive" heart attack following the procedure. Attempts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful.

Congrats to Nicki Minaj for taking home "Album Of The Year" at this years AMA's. She also beat out others like Jay-Z, Lil Wayne and Kanye West for "Best Hip Hop Artist".
