Lil Boosie wites teen from prison who was featured on A&E's TV series “Beyond Scared Straight.”
The teen was featured during the opening episode of the second season of "Beyond Scared Straight," in August.
The boy told guards at a North Carolina prison that he was influenced by his favorite rapper, Lil Boosie.
The rapper, incarcerated in Angola State Prison and facing the death penalty over a first-degree murder charge, decided to write a letter to Alex.
According to Allhiphop.com: Lil Boosie's cousin "AKA Donkey" read a letter that the incarcerated rapper wrote to Alex and other fans who view him as a role model.
“Alex I was told that you said you were smoking and misbehaving because I smoke," Lil Boosie wrote to the teen. "Well you can be better than me. You don't want a marijuana addiction because it leads to trouble as you can see. Look at me I've been imprisoned 2 years for smoking marijuana. Was it worth it? Hell no. When you are imprisoned your away from everything that you love and that's a hurting feeling."
“Look at your role model. I'm facing the death penalty because my friends lied on me," Lil Boosie said. "I was told you have a mother and father who are trying their best to help you. That's a blessing because most kids who are on the path that you are on don't have that.”
Alex's mother said that Alex now seems more positive and goal oriented.

Mariah Carey is reportedly pregnant with a baby boy. However, she has not confirmed publicly that she is pregnant.
According to reports, Mariah Carey is four months pregnant and the singer and husband Nick Cannon are overjoyed but have decided not to talk about the pregnancy publicly.
Sources say that even though Nick was dodging questions of a pregnancy, he is very open about it with close friends.

Our boy Nick Cannon who was here a few weekends ago for The Dew Tour has issued the ultimate challenge to Eminem. Nick is fed up with the things Em has been saying about his wifey Mariah Carey who Eminem dated some 7 or 8 years ago. Em has been dropping snide remarks about Mariah in songs like "Superman" from his 2002 "The Eminem Show" CD and most recently "Bag Pipes from Baghdad" from his 2009 "Relapse". Things got really interesting last summer when Mariah dropped the video for the song "Obsessed" which clearly was a shot at Eminem, Em fired back with a scathing diss to Mariah with "The Warning" and took shots at her newlywed husband Nick Cannon. For the most part Nick has been pretty quiet about the situation, until last week when Nick offered an invitation for Eminem to meet him the ring for a Charity Boxing Match. We all know Nick as a kidder and the type of guy who wouldn't hurt a fly, so it's a little odd that Nick wants to Box with Eminem. As of now Em has yet to reply or accept the challenge, who knows if he ever will either, Although I think Nick's intention for this is good donating to charity and all...I would have to say my money is on Marshall, just saying!!
