As the summer has passed, we have heard continuous rumors about Beyoncé and Jay Z getting a divorce. Fans became surprised when they began their On The Run tour, but following the beginning of the tour; happened the famous elevator incident. Making fans believe the rumors even more.
But according to Radar Online, Mathew Knowles (Beyoncé’s father) says that it was all a staged trick. Although he and Beyoncé haven’t had the best relationship for the last few years, he claims that things are fine between them and that he still speaks with his daughter.
“We still talk every Sunday. She’s still the humble, generous person that she’s always been,” said Knowles. Although they currently have a good relationship, things may begin to get rocky again when she hears what he had to say about their elevator incident.
Mathew then added that Beyoncé and Jay used that drama to get people engaged in the On The Run tour. “I know because we have done this. From experience, there’s a tour going on. So sometimes you have to ignite that tour. It’s called a Jedi Mind trick. The Jedi mind trick fools you a lot,” he stated.
He also added that the elevator video helped ticket sales go up. Knowles also mentioned that the incident helped Solange’s album sales go up 200%!

If you have been keeping up with the Michael Brown shooting which happened in Ferguson, Missouri, you will find interest in this.
In the wake of the shooting, The Game has recruited a group of 10 rappers and four R&B artists. As they come together they protest on a musical Molotov “Don’t Shoot.”
The song by The Game features Diddy, Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Fabolous, Wale, DJ Khaled, Swizz Beatz, Yo Gotti, Curren$y, Problem, King Pharaoh and the R&B super-group TGT (Tyrese, Ginuwine and Tank).
In an interview with Rolling Stone Magazine, The game says, “The issues in Ferguson really hit home for me, and I feel compelled to use my musical platform to address this.”
“I am a black man with kids of my own that I love more than anything, and I cannot fathom a horrific tragedy like Michael Brown’s happening to them,” he added. “This possibility has shaken me to my core. That is why this song must be made and why it was so easy for so many of my friends to come together and unite against the injustice.”
In a show of solidarity, the rappers on the track are a Pan-American show.
“I managed to get everyone on board fairly easy, simply because we have the hearts,” stated the game. “We care and are inclined to take a positive approach to resolving an issue that has existed since the beginning of mankind and that is racism and hatred towards one another as human beings.”
Listen to the song and purchase it on iTunes, the money raised from the track will go to the Justice for Mike Brown GoFundMe account.

Within the first 24 hours, Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda” video broke the record for the most VEVO views within a day.
Nicki’s artwork for her “Anaconda” single definitely turned some heads, yet when the video was released, it made an even larger impression on her fans. The video accumulated 19.6 million views over the first 24 hours of being released.
The insane amount of views broke VEVO’s record for the most views within a 24 hour stretch. Beating Miley Cyrus’ “We Can’t Stop”, which held the top spot with 12.3 million views.
But it doesn’t stop there, the video continues to climb to the top, currently sitting at about 39 million views. It is possible that the video still has a few more records to break.
Nicki is scheduled to perform her single at this year’s MTV VMA’s, which is predicted to be just as surprising of a show as the video.
What do you think about Nicki’s newest video? Does it deserve all of the attention it’s receiving? Or nah?
As we have seen throughout the past couple of months, just about every celebrity has accepted the ALS ice bucket challenge and then continued to challenge their celebrity friends and family. 50 Cent on the other hand, decided to change the challenge.
The rapper challenged his not-so friend, Floyd Mayweather to read one page from a Harry Potter book without stopping, starting over or messing up. If Floyd accepts the challenge, Fifty said he would donate $750K to a charity of his choice.
As you’re probably imagining that this could be just for laughs, The Breakfast Club took this challenge to another level by airing an unreleased audio of Mayweather struggling to read some drops for the radio station.
Although, DJ Envy says this would take someone about 10 seconds to read, Floyd is heard repeatedly stopping and starting over as well as fumbling some of his words.
Watch the video of Fifty challenging Floyd, then listen to the audio released by The Breakfast Club.
Do you think that Floyd will accept the challenge or will he ignore it as if it never happened? What is your opinion?
