Reebok calls Rick Ross STUPID!? #MMG vs #reebok

in recent news Reebok has dropped Rick Ross from his sneaker deal due to the controversy of lyrics from a song basically stating Ross was down with date rape. Well now Reebok is saying that Ross and his team is stupid! Good friend and fellow label mate Meek Mills came out with a statement saying " We wear pumas ***** Reebok!"  Diss track please.

Is Eminem back in the studio? Booker | Middays 10a-3p

Is Eminem back in the studio?

Hip Hoppers, Backpakckers, etc.....get ready it looks like Slim Shady is back in the lab cooking up his next project. Well this isn't neccessarily confirmed but if the new hat that is currently listed on Em's online store cryptic message means what we think it does, then Em will have new album out sometime in 2013. The hat has a old english Detroit Tigers D but looks like a backwards E on the front, but on the side it has the years of Em's most significant albums dating back to 1996, the year 2013 is embroidered on the cap as well. I think we'll take that as a sign, nothing wrong with hopeful thinking right?

In the meantime Eminem has officially signed on as a producer on Skylar Gray's new album, you'll remember Skylar from the hit songs "I need a Doctor" and Diddy's "I'm Coming Home"

Move Out the way Dogg, make way for the Lion! Booker | Nights 6p-11p

Move Out the way Dogg, make way for the Lion!

Not sure if we should take this seriously or he just smoked a massive blunt and is beyond high but Snoop Dogg announced in a news conference yesterday that he is no more, he is renaming himself Snoop Lion. He recently made a trip to Jamaica and says he connected with the spirit of Bob Marley and claims he is the new Bob Marley. One of the reasons Snoop cited for the sudden name change is that he wants to make music his kids and grandparents can listen to with out feeling ashamed of some of the content.

(from Yahoo news)

"I feel like I've always been Rastafarian," Snoop said of the spiritual Jamaican movement. While there, he said, he visited a temple, was renamed Snoop Lion and was also given the Ethiopian name Berhane, meaning "light of the world."

Snoop didn't explain why he was switching from "Dogg" to "Lion," but it's likely a reference to the Lion of Judah, a religious symbol popular in Rastafarian and Ethiopian culture.

Look for Snoop Lion to release a reggae album later this fall called "Reincarnated"

I suppose I can respect why he's doing it but to me and I'm sure fans all over the world he'll always be Big Snoop D-O-double-G!
