Looks like Rick Ross is adding to his Maybach Music Group label, with the recent signing of former TUG/B2K member Omarion. According to www.allhiphop.com the announcement was made during an invitation only press conference at New York's Eventi hotel. Label reps were hand as well as MMG artists Wale, Meek Mill, Teedra Moses and of course Ross himself to welcome Omarion to the camp. The MMG imprint is distributed through Warner Bros. Records. Omarion started his career with the group B2K in the early 2000's the group split up in 2004, Omarion has had solid success as a solo artist, with top charting hits like "O" from 2005 and "Ice Box" from 2007. Omarion has also been in several movies, "You Got Served" "Fat Albert" and a few others. Recently Omarion was spotted with former Bad Boy artist Ma$e during a studio session, rumors are swirling the the rapper turned pastor is looking to make another comeback to hip hop and he may also be signing a deal with MMG as well but in an A&R role. Look for the new MMG mixtape "Self Made" to hit stores in June and Omarion's MMG debut to drop sometime later this year!
