Looks like T.I. was released from prison for the second time with in a month. He is now serving the remaining of his sentence in a halfway house.

This time around, he was transported between the prison and the halfway house with just his lawyer. This was after the feds decided that his last transportaion was too overwelming, and thus put the multi platinum rapper back in the big house. Next time for those of you that get locked up... No entourage, no cameras, and no luxury bus when being released.

Look's like T.I.'s choice of transportation from prison to the halfway house cost him another month! T.I. will remain in prison till September 29th, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

The Atlanta rapper was transferred from prison August 31st to a halfway house. He was to serve the remaining of his sentance at the location for violating his probation.

T.I. was transported in a luxury tour bus followed by VH1 camera crews. Due to Federal guidelines, potential footage of the halfway house's name and those sheltered there are prohibited. 

T.I.'s attorney still has yet to recieve a notice from the feds to explain why T.I. has to serve an extra 29 days officially.

T.I. will be released from an Arkansas prison on Wednesday, after serving 11 months for violating his probation.

The rapper was busted for drug possession in Los Angeles, along with his wife ToMeka "Tiny" Cottle in September of 2010.

According to Allhiphop.com, the arrest came just six months after he'd been released from prison, after most of the precious year for attempting to purchase machine guns and silencers during the BET Awards in October of 2007.

Incarcerated rapper T.I. has revealed that he will drop a new single over the next couple of weeks, just in time for summer

The rapper, who is currently winding down an eight month prison sentence for possession of ecstasy while on probation for gun charges, revealed the news in a post on his website TrapMuzic.com.

"I’ll be releasing a record in the near future (couple of weeks tops) to hold y’all over til I get back in action," T.I. said in his most recent blog post.

In addition to releasing the new single, T.I. revealed that his time behind bars has been well spent.

The Atlanta rapper said he was looking forward to being released, so he could implement new business strategies and techniques he's developed for his career while behind bars.

"During this time of seclusion I have developed a mind full of thoughts, ideas, plans and strategies of change to incorporate into my professional endeavors, as well as my personal lifestyle," T.I. said. "But none of them is as strong as my determination to conquer my own imperfections and my will to WIN NO MATTER WHAT!!!"

T.I. thanked a number of associates for supporting him during his jail stint, including Lil Wayne, Killa Mike, Terrence J. BET's 106 & Park, B.o.B. and formal rival Rick Ross.

According to reports T.I. is due to be released from prison on September 29th.

Rap star Ja Rule spent his last full night of freedom in the recording studio yesterday evening (June 7th).

Ja, who's working on his upcoming album Pain is Love 2, is scheduled to surrender to police today (June 8th) to begin a prison stretch for attempted possession of a weapon.

Today (June 8th), the rapper will begin a 2 1/2 year prison sentence for possession of a gun, after a show in New York City in July of 2007.

"I'll be in jail making it pop," a somber Ja Rule said. "Lifting weights, playing some basketball, ping pong, s**t jail ni**as do. I'ma have to change my whole motherf**kin swag," Ja Rule said." I'ma have to be like the ill motherf**kin ping pong ni**a in jail."

In the video clip Ja Rule thanks his family friends and fans for their continued support.

"Much love to the fans, I love y'all for holding me down throughout the years," Ja Rule said.

The rapper is also working on a new album that will be released post-prison, titled F**k Fame.
