in recent news Reebok has dropped Rick Ross from his sneaker deal due to the controversy of lyrics from a song basically stating Ross was down with date rape. Well now Reebok is saying that Ross and his team is stupid! Good friend and fellow label mate Meek Mills came out with a statement saying " We wear pumas ***** Reebok!" Diss track please.
I think artists that have other business ventures like Nightclubs, Basketball teams, Beverage, Shoes, etc....probably aren't too worried about releasing new music as often. We're kind of seeing this with Dr. Dre, he has made so much money doing other things he doesn't need to put out an album, the same can probably said about 50 Cent, his new album "Street King" (originally titled "Black Magic") has yet to see the light of day and not for lack of material he just recently dropped another single, but when you have Vitamin Water that he's made millions off, an energy drink and now according to a recent tweet 50 sent out, he's claming that he made a whopping $80 Mill from the deal he had with Reebok for those G-Unit shoes, yeah you don't really see anyone rocking them anymore but hey what does Fif care, he got his money...ok that's cool and all, now can we get some new music??
