Chris Tucker will be teaming up with Live Nation for an 18 city tour.

August 19th in the city of Long Beach, California kicks off the tour and ends November 26th in Oakland, California at the Paramount Theater. A regular on Russell Simmons' Def Comedy Jam. He starred as “Smokey” in 1995's cult classic “Friday.”

Since then, Chris Tucker has become one of Hollywood's most sought-after actors starring in comedies like “Rush Hour,” "Rush Hour 2" and "Rush Hour 3" with Jackie Chan.

According to "Friday's" director, Ice Cube, he is willing to produce a another installment of the series, but only if Chris Tucker reprises his role as "Smokey."

"That’s my dream. I hope so, I even want Chris Tucker in it," Ice Cube told AllHipHop.com. "I think that’s what everybody wants to see. They want to see all of us together, I’ve been campaigning trying to put that together, I’m going to keep campaigning until the idea is so old nobody wants to see it."
