Big Sean reports to court. Facing 3rd Degree sexual abuse charges. Poetik C | Mornings 6A - 10A

Rap star Big Sean appeared in court yesterday (September 6th), along with a 23-year-old associate, to face charges that they sexually abused a fan.

Both are faced with three offenses - one a felony - after a 17-year-old fan claimed she was assaulted by the pair after a concert.

A gag order was ordered during the trial, because the victim is under age.

According to Allhiphop.com, Big Sean and Willie Hansbro were each charged with third-degree sexual abuse, forcible touching and second-degree unlawful imprisonment.

Both men are freed on $500 bail.

According to reports, big Sean and Hansbro are due back in court on October 11th, where they could face a Grand Jury.

Big Boi of Outkast busted with MDMA and Viagra! MDMA is also known as the drug "Ecstacy".

According to TMZ.com the rapper was busted with the drugs as he was exiting a cruise ship by border patrol agents and drug dog.

According to reports, Big Boi is still in the Miami Dade County jail.  

What a drug mixture! I think they should call this combination of drugs, "VAMPIRE BLOOD!" lol

Rapper Jay-Z could end up in court over a new lawsuit that claims the rap mogul illegally used a sample in his hit 2000 song "Big Pimpin."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jay-Z is being sued by the family of Egyptian composer Baligh Hamdi, who wrote the song "Khosara, Khosara" for a 1957 Egyptian film named Fata Ahlami.

Hamdi's children are suing EMI, MTV, Paramount Pictures, UMG and Warner Music over the track.

Although Jay-Z's team obtained a license to use the song under United States copyright law, the lawsuit claims he didn't have the proper rights to loop and rap over the sample.

The lawsuit claims that although Jay-Z obtained a license to use the sample, he didn't have the rights to loop the sample and rap over it under Egyptian copyright laws.

Jay- also failed to get permission from all of Hamdi's children, who each own an interest in the composition.

The lawsuit was originally filed in 2005 and was dismissed in 2007, because all of the owners of the rights to the song were not listed in the original court filing.

Big Pimpin' was featured on Jay-Z's hit album, Vol. 3... Life and Times of S. Carter., which has sold millions of copies.

Hamdi's children are seeking an unspecified amount in damages.

DJ Premier celebrates the life of Notorious BIG with Junior Mafia Poetik C | Mornings 6A - 10A

Rap group Junior Mafia has teamed with AllHipHop.com and a variety of artists, to celebrate the life of slain emcee Christopher "Notorious B.I.G." Wallace on March 9th.

Producer DJ Premier, who produced some of B.I.G's best known hits, including, "Unbelievable" and "Ten Crack Commandments," has been confirmed as a performer for the event.

In addition to Premier, legendary producer Easy Mo Bee, who is responsible for tracks like "Warning" and "Gimme the Loot," will also attend.

During the evening, Junior Mafia, DJ Premier, Easy Mo Bee, Pharoahe Monch, Smoke DZA, Bossman, R.E.K.s, Ludy Luck, DJ 50 Grand and DJ Esquire will perform sets featuring their most influential, or favorite B.I.G. song.

The event, which takes place from 10:00pm-4:00PM on March 9th at Santos Party House in New York, is co-sponsored by City for Change, a new charitable movement founded by Seandra Sims and AllHipHop.com's co-founder, Chuck "Jigsaw" Creekmur.

Proceeds from the March 9th celebration for B.I.G's life will be donated to The Christopher Wallace Foundation.

B.I.G. was born on May 21st, 1972 and was killed in Los Angeles on March 9th, 1997, be unknown assassins.
