Originally from Detroit, Booker came to U92 many years ago. He decided to leave for a job in Florida as the Music Director of a Hip Hop station. After a few years away, Booker returned and has now made the night show at U92 even bigger and better.

What is the most challenging part of the job?

Trying to get local artists to understand that we can’t just put their song into rotation….timing is everything people!

Most embarrassing radio moment?

Every time I open the mic it’s an embarrassing moment

If you were not working in radio, what would you be doing?

Well as a “Plan B” in high school I took culinary arts, So if for some reason you stop hearing me on the radio, I’m probably in a chef’s hat at your favorite restaurant.

Any hidden talents?

I do a pretty good impersonation of Al Bundy!

Pretty Much all the artists you hear on U92….Ice Cube, Snoop, Dre, Eminem, Jay-Z, T.I, also dig a lot of other artists like Justin Timberlake, Britney, Lady Gaga…..etc

See my kids grow up to graduate High School!
